Weddings at House of Ullr
The House of Ullr caters for petite weddings of up to 40 guests.
You may choose to celebrate your special day with pre-wedding drinks in the picturesque outdoor courtyard area or in the recently renovated bar, where still stands some of Australia’s oldest hotel history—the wooden bar, shipped from England to Australia in the late 1800s for one of the first hotels to open in NSW. Then dine in contemporary style at the recently renovated restaurant, which has a warm and friendly Alpine theme to it. As the nights moves on, head back to the bar to celebrate the night away with your family and friends.
You and your guests can then stay in our well appointed rooms, some of which offer fabulous mountain views.
Provided below is some information that will assist in deciding your wedding day plans.

Please note that the restaurant can only be closed for your private use if there is a minimum of 20 people attending the wedding. Throughout the winter season, the restaurant will only be available for exclusive use on Friday evenings.

  Drinks are offered on a consumption basis. All drinks purchased are tallied to a bar tab, which can be set to your limit, and to your selection. We have a large range of wines and champagne to choose from, and we sell Coopers, Carlton Draught and VB on tap. You may purchase any wine and/or champagne from the list as a discount package. All other drinks are available at the listed price. A Drinks & Wine list is available on request and the discount package can be discussed. Please note that there may be some variation made to the wines currently listed, due to new products and personal choice. Please note that we do not allow guests to bring their own alcohol to the restaurant due to licensing restrictions. We appreciate your understanding.

  Accommodation is offered to you and your guests at a discounted rate of 5% off the normal rates. Rate details are available through this website (see the Rates page) or on request. Inclusions are as stated on the rate sheet.

  Guest Numbers: Final guest numbers are required seven working days before your function. This number will represent the minimum number of guests that will be catered and charged for. If numbers increase within the last seven days, please inform us as soon as possible to ensure your catering requirements are met.If you have any special requirements for catering e.g. vegetarians, please ensure we are advised well in advance.

  Booking and Deposit: A 50% deposit will be required 60 days prior to your wedding day, with the final balance payable seven days prior.

  Prices: All prices are current at the time of the quote, valid for 30 days, and once the reception is booked, will not change.

  Bonus: A complimentary one night's accommodation* for the Bride and Groom, including a continental breakfast. If you choose to take advantage of this offer before your wedding, this will allow you to visualise the venue and make plans for seating, decorating etc.
(* Not available winter, Easter or during Festivals, and subject to availability.)

  If required, we can also provide assistance/information to help organise photographers, wedding video, hair and/or make-up specialists.

Parties and Private Functions
The House of Ullr is a great place to celebrate private functions or parties; be it a special occasion such as a birthday, anniversary, a gathering of family or friends, or for any reason you can think of—maybe no reason at all!

Dine in contemporary style at the recently renovated restaurant, which has a warm and friendly Alpine theme to it.
As the night moves along, head back to the bar to party the night away with some dancing or singing. Maybe some karaoke would suit—sing your heart out with the most up to date karaoke equipment offering some 8,000 songs to choose from. Our 'Ullroke' nights have become quite infamous.
You and your guests can then stay in our well appointed rooms, many of which offer fabulous mountain views.
